I'm a front-end web dev turned designer with a passion for Interaction and XR design, who can't stop thinking about making tools better.  I'm a picky person when it comes to my personal suite of software and hardware; I've tested dozens of alternatives for each task to find the right fit.  The ones I end up sticking with all ooze personality, focus on ease of use, and provide thoughtful accessibility options.  They make me want to tell my friends and peers, and I'm not alone in wanting products to be functional AND satisfying.

I'm coming from an engineering perspective where we worked closely with an entire marketing department, and had to be our own QA.  It's given me a massive respect for understanding every piece of the puzzle, and how small decisions made in one faraway team affect all the others.  These perspectives help me design with more consideration, for both the end user, and for the teams that'll turn my designs into reality.

And when I'm not busy solving for function and fun, I'm finding ways to enhance my design method with my other perspectives, such as:

- A blacksmithing president
- A principal violist
- A video game startup co-founder
- A world traveler (31 countries and far too many photos)
- An electric unicyclist
- A 3D printer (however you interpret the phrasing)

Let's make something people will want to talk about.
